Warranties after Aus manufacturing ends?

With the loss of Ford, Holden and Toyota-built cars in Australia, and the advent of imported models bearing their name, what assurance do we have that warranties will be honoured and ongoing maintenance and spare parts will be available for cars bought from them today?

By law, car companies have to provide 10 years of parts support. The Ford, Holden and Toyota dealerships will not close so there will be ongoing back-up long after local production ends.
