Audi are a German auto maker, owned by Volkswagen, known for their luxury cars and long history of motorsport and performance cars. Laying claim to "beautiful, sophisticated machines that embody technical perfection", Audi's history dates back to the early 20th century as part of the Auto Union. Modern cars such as the A4 and A3 are among the most popular sellers in their category, and Audi made a foray into SUV's with the Q range; the Q3, Q5 and Q7. Sports cars from Audi trace their heritage back to the Auto Union racers, the Quattro rally cars and the Le Mans winning R10 TDI. The R8 super car tops a range of S (S3, S4, S5, S6, S7) and RS (RS4, RS5) cars including performance versions of the TT coupe.
