    Transit for touring Australia?

    I'm thinking of selling the house and buying a Ford Transit-sized diesel van, chucking a mattress and dog in the back, and visiting Oz before I die. I now have a 1976 SWB Toyota HiAce van, so I'm used to basic. It doesn't need all the bells and whistles, just a bloody good motor.

    Go for the Transit. It has five-star safety with six airbags and you even get heated seats. Ford is also struggling to move them, so crunch a good deal.
