My 2008 Toyota Kluger Grande has a knock in the steering, which I believe is caused by worn splines in the steering shaft. Toyota will not accept any responsibility to help out with an extended warranty for parts or labour. How can Toyota build a car that wears out a safety part such as a steering shaft so quickly and not be interested in fixing it?
It's a common problem and one that is normally fixed by the dealer when reported. Go back to the dealer and ask him to repair it. At the very least Toyota should supply the replacement part free of charge.
