The difference between list and drive-away pricing

What is it with CarsGuide and drive-away pricing? Obviously you are not obligated to do the same as dealers, but the pricing in articles is not always clear to me. For instance, I am particularly interested in the VFII Commodore SS-V Redline and noted in the CarsGuide article it is $56,190, but with no indication of whether this is drive-away or not.

We quote the RRP because CarsGuide is a national publication and the on-road costs can vary quite a lot throughout Australia. The exception is when there is a national "drive-away" price for a launch car or when we are writing about a special edition or promotion on a car.
