    Suitable replacement for Tiida?

    My wife's cherished Nissan Tiida has been written off due to hail damage and we need a replacement. It needs to have a high seating position, be automatic, cheap to run and maintain, and have a decent resale value in 5-7 year's time. I like the look of the Kia Soul, but don't see many on the road, and also the Mitsubishi ASX. Could you suggest an appropriate car for around $25,000?

    I would suggest the Soul could be ruled out on the basis that it won't have a high resale value when you want to sell it on. Your budget will limit your choices, if you could stretch it another $3000 you could look at the Honda HR-V or CR-V, or Kia Sportage.
