Harsh ride from low-profile tyres

Can you please start a campaign to rid Australia of hard riding cars and low-profile tyres? Most of this is being driven by marketing. We feel the ride 100 per cent of the time but only want handling and steering response for 10 per cent of the time. I have just bought a 2010 BMW X5 with 20-inch wheels and 40-profile tyres and the ride is bone-jarring harsh. That's great for a track day but for a woman on an inner city suburban school run the ride is ridiculously hard.

Consider the campaign officially launched, although all of the CarsGuide team have been complaining about harsh riding from low-profile tyres for a long time.
