Volvo XC90 2016 T6 review: Torquing Heads

Volvo’s first-generation XC90 SUV was around so long that the owner’s manual was a stack of stone tablets. Okay, that might be pushing it, but the big beast was a first for Volvo so having endured a change in ownership, it was time for a brand new design from the ground up.

The new XC90 has some super-impressive technology, right up to a hybrid drivetrain. But where it’s really at is the seven-seat interior with some bang-up-to-date entertainment and information gadgets all shrouded in an impressive array of safety features.

We spent some quality time with the new XC90 T6 petrol to see if the long wait was worth it.
