    The entry-point to the Golf 7.5 line-up has been tagged with an ultra-competitive introductory drive-away price of $23,990 (MSRP $23,990) for the six-speed manual, and $26,490 (MSRP $26,490) for the seven-speed 'DSG' dual-clutch auto.

    It's loaded with everything from cruise control with speed-limit function to seven airbags and driver-fatigue detection. It also features a sleek new 8.0-inch multimedia screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, as well as AEB, 16-inch alloy wheels, air-con, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, LED daytime running lights, and a rear-view camera as standard.

    The front-wheel drive 110TSI hatch is powered by a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine, producing 110kW from 5000-6000rpm, and 250Nm across a broad plateau from just 1500-3500rpm.
