Volkswagen Polo R-Line 2018 added

The new VW Polo R-Line pack is available as an option on the Comfortline model.

The 2018 Volkswagen Polo range has seen the addition of an aggressively styled R-Line pack.

The new R-Line pack will be available as an optional extra on the range-topping Comfortline model at a cost of $1500. But for that money, buyers get plenty of additional kit. Trendline buyers can't get the R-Line pack.

The R-Line pack includes a blackened R-Line front bumper and grille, black-edged side sills, a redesigned rear bumper with black diffuser and twin chrome trim elements, an R-Line rear spoiler (you guessed correctly - in black), and new metallic grey 16-inch 'Sebring' alloy wheels (as per the Golf).

The R-Line pack also includes a tighter sports suspension set-up, tinted rear glass (side and back windows) and front fog-lights with static cornering lights.

That isn’t all for the Polo, though - the all-new GTI model is just around the corner, due here in August, and there’ll be a special edition Beats model with a beefier stereo and some interior tech and styling enhancements before the end of the year, too.

Would you consider the R-Line pack for the Polo? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
