The Jeep Grand Cherokee is available from $60,450 to $140,450 for the 2022 SUV across a range of models.
Jeep's Grand Cherokee was a relative unknown in Australia. Until 2011, that is, when an all-new model arrived just as Australia's love for SUVs began to soar. It was a perfect storm for Jeep, which suddenly couldn't make enough of them. That sales boom wouldn't last forever, however, but the Grand Cherokee remains the flagship of Jeep's all-SUV line-up. Available in two- or four-wheel drive (the latter of which is celebrated for its off-road capability), the five-seat Grand Cherokee large SUV is also available with a choice or petrol or diesel engines in the $60,450 Grand Cherokee Night Eagle (4X4) and up, or with a performance-focussed V8 in the $140,450 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk (4X4).

Does the Jeep Grand Cherokee have product quality issues?
Remember Jeep has gone through a huge change in ownership following Fiat’s buyout of the company from Daimler. There have certainly been quality issues since Fiat took over, but they don’t appear to be as frequent now as they were.

Is the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 2015 reliable?
We are not aware of any specific issues with the SRT’s big V8, but the Grand Cherokee doesn’t have a great reputation for reliability. It has been subject to a number of recalls for various problems, and we would urge you to have a Jeep dealer check any vehicle you might consider buying before you do so. Fuel consumption is also something to think about with the 6.4-litre V8, it uses fuel and usually more than most people anticipate when they buy one.
