    What would you recommend between a Volkswagen Golf GTi and a Hyundai i30 Elite Premium?

    I'm about to sell my 2012 Lexus IS350F Sport and downgrade to a small hatch. I’ve been strongly looking at getting a 2009-2014 VW Golf GTI hatch auto. Do you have any recommendations on years to avoid? I have also considered a Hyundai i30 Elite-Premium, however the drop in power will likely bother me knowing I could have had a GTi. That said if I'm destined to be spending additional money solving problems all the time I’d rather just bite the bullet and get an i30. Any help would be great.

     The GTi is a great car; the problem is the dual-clutch auto that has been a running sore for the company. I wouldn’t rule it out, but I would go for the latest model you can afford. If you aren’t sure go for the Hyundai.
