Kia Pv5

Kia Pv5

FROM $55,990

Kia introduced the Kia PV5 globally in late 2025 as its first dedicated commercial electric vehicle. The mid-size van debuted under the brand new Platform Beyond Vehicle strategy to provide a highly flexible transport option. It was engineered from the outset specifically for zero-emission logistics, urban delivery tasks and specialised business applications rather than being adapted from an existing petrol or diesel platform.

The vehicle represents a significant shift for the manufacturer by moving away from traditional body-on-frame utility designs to a modular architecture. It features a scalable floor plan with an interchangeable upper body system that allows quick conversions between cargo configurations and passenger configurations. This flexible electric architecture uses standardized chassis components to allow diverse body styles on a single automated production line.

Kia retains the standard Kia PV5 moniker across major global regions including Europe, Japan and North America to establish a unified nameplate. The vehicle enters the Australian market in 2026 as an affordable mid-size electric commercial option. It positions itself securely as a direct competitor to traditional short-wheelbase and medium-wheelbase diesel delivery vans.
