Subaru's CVT is the best

You have been bagging CVT transmissions and say you could go on and on bagging them. I have had similar concerns when renting CVT cars and my brother-in-law says his is a little noisy at high revs. But I own a Subaru Outback diesel and have nothing but praise, in fact I don't even notice the CVT and it is amazing. I could go on and on, and would recommend you drive one for a week and, if possible, hook up a caravan like I do.

You're right that the Subaru has the best CVT but it's still not remotely as good as a DSG in a VW Group product. As for more time with CVTs, I've driven them all for more than a week and they are as appealing as brussels sprouts.
