HSV capped price servicing - cost, schedule & info

HSV doesn't offer capped price servicing - would that turn you off buying one?

HSV is one of only a few car brands in Australia that doesn’t offer a capped price servicing plan for its models.

The brand had previously run a capped price plan in cahoots with Holden for its Commodore-based models, but with a range that now builds on the Holden Colorado (in the form of the HSV SportsCat), plus the Chevrolet Silverado and Camaro models, there is no current form of capped price servicing available.

According to a spokesperson for the company, HSV "will monitor the feedback of key stakeholders including our customers and dealer body".

In terms of warranty cover and roadside assist, the Chevrolet models are backed by a three-year/100,000km plan. While there is no capped price servicing plan, a complimentary inspection is offered at 1 month of ownership. The HSV SportsCat model is backed by a five-year/unlimited kilometre plan (limited to 200,000km for fleet buyers), with the same level of cover for roadside assist.

If anything changes, we’ll update this page.
