Nissan’s new-generation X-Trail mid-size SUV has seemingly leaked online ahead of its expected official reveal later this year.
Pictures of the supposed new X-Trail were published on Instagram account Kurdistan_Automotive_Blog, showing the mid-size SUV’s fresh aesthetics that includes a prominent V-motion front grille and new headlight design.
A wireless smartphone charger can be glimpsed, likely resigned to higher-spec grades, while a slimmed down gear selector, gloss-black trim and quilted leather seats add to the X-Trail’s interior ambience.
Engine details are yet to be revealed for the new X-Trail, but expect to see a mix of carryover powertrains and possibly even a hybrid or plug-in version as Nissan ramps up its electrification offerings.
For reference, the current X-Trail kicks off at $30,040 before on-road costs and tops out at $48,490.
