For the third time this year, Jeep Australia has increased the fourth-generation Grand Cherokee large SUV’s pricing.
This time around, V6 variants are up $500, while their single V8 counterpart has risen $1000, with the range now starting from $60,450 plus on-road costs and reaching $84,450 (see full pricing table below).
Speaking to CarsGuide, a Jeep Australia spokesperson confirmed no changes have been made to the Grand Cherokee's standard specification in this instance, with “the usual external factors” instead behind the price adjustments.

For reference, the large SUV continues to be offered in four grades: entry-level Night Eagle, mid-range S-Limited and Trailhawk, and flagship S-Overland.
Three engine options are available, including 213kW/347Nm 3.6-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 184kW/570Nm 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel V6s, and a 259kW/520Nm 5.7-litre naturally aspirated petrol V8.

No matter the engine option, the Toyota Kluger, Mazda CX-9, Hyundai Palisade and Nissan Pathfinder rival is mated to an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission and a version of Jeep’s four-wheel-drive system.
As reported, the five- and seven-seat versions of the fifth-generation Grand Cherokee (MY22) are due in Australia in the first half of next year, with pricing and full specification details yet to be released, so stay tuned.
