Asked by Sue
My 2001 Toyota Corolla used to get around 500-600 km on a tank before fill-up, but more recently I have found the light comes on at about 425 km. Could this perhaps be an issue with the actual fuel measurement system, or something more mechanical?
Answered by CarsGuide
6 Sep 2019If there’s no obvious problem with the way the car is running, it could be that the engine needs a tune-up, new spark plugs, leads, air filter, and a cleaning of the throttle body.
