    Mitsubishi Pajero 2003: Why is the four-wheel drive symbol flashing?

    I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Pajero; the four-wheel drive symbol on the dashboard has a flashing orange light in the centre. It comes on after about 20 minutes of driving, is the transmission oil low, or could it be a faulty sensor?

    It’s likely to be a problem with the actuation system for the front diff, such as the solenoids, vacuum line, actuator, or the sensor in the diff.
