I find the headrest in my 2009 Hyundai Getz most uncomfortable, so much so that I can foresee neck problems in the future. I have tried the head and backrest in different positions and have ended up removing the headrest completely. Obviously that is not a safe option. When I mentioned it to my dealer I was told that they had received quite a few similar complaints, but that was the way most manufacturers are going. Could I take the headrest to an engineer perhaps and have the two metal rods bent slightly to improve the position?
It shouldn't be a big deal to massage the headrest to your requirements. Any mechanic should be able to do it for you.
