I have a Holden Barina sport 1.4-litre turbo with 50,000 km on clock. It is overheating, with a leaking water pump and bottom hose. Holden has offered to cover costs, which I appreciate. But they advise getting the parts may take up to six weeks, as Holden does not stock these parts in Australia. As this is my driving school car, with dual controls, I cannot use a loan vehicle. My dealer has advised they are trying to get a resolution, and I am checking wreckers etc. How can we speed this process up?
Make sure the dealer understands your predicament and urge them to airfreight the necessary parts to Australia.
