Hyundai Tucson 2017: Faulty fuel tank

I have just brought a brand new Hyundai Tucson; I collected it on the Sept 22. Over the week that I have had it, I have driven 500 km and noticed the fuel gauge hadn't moved. I took it in to the dealership and they advised me that the fuel tank would need to be replaced. I checked the logbook/manual for the tank size and discovered that the "pre-delivery" inspection was not completed either. What are my rights here? Can I request a new vehicle? I feel like I have purchased a "Lemon". Your help would be greatly appreciated.

You are jumping the gun wanting a new car so soon, particularly when you have little justification for claiming you have bought a “lemon”. The fuel tank will presumably be replaced under warranty, and I’m sure the dealer will confirm that the pre-delivery inspection was done. There is no chance the dealer would have found the tank problem during pre-delivery.
