Forget Farmer Wants a Wife, this farmer wants a 2JZ-powered tractor

By Mitchell TulkMitchell Tulk

Just when you think the world is running out of things to engine swap, the lads at Life OD prove you wrong by adding a 2JZ to a 1950s tractor.

While engine swapping a tractor has been done before, no-one (that we know of) has dropped Toyota’s legendary in-line six with a massive turbo into a Ferguson tractor, until now.

As you’ll see in the video, the rust bucket hasn’t been touched in a long time (we mean a long time) and it can comfortably fit the engine with some ‘small’ modifications.

Obviously, there’s still some work to be done before this unit is ploughing farmland faster than it really needs to, but we’ll be sure to update you once the project is complete.
