Renowned racer and car collector Bruce Canepa has listed his one-off McLaren P1 GTR up for sale, reportedly the first P1 GTR sold in the USA.
Only 50 “very special customers” were invited by Woking to spend a king’s ransom buying the non-road-legal P1 GTR back in 2016, but the results are stunning and brutal.
The P1’s 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 has been boosted from 673kW (903hp) to 735kW (986hp), while a titanium exhaust, on-board jacking system, centre-lock wheels, and video telemetry system are also upgrades the GTR enjoys. This GTR has also been finished in custom Canepa Green with McLaren Papaya Orange highlights.
And what price do you put on such potentially mind-bending fun? Considering P1 GTRs cost up to $USD2.5 million before customisation you’re going to need an army of piggy-banks to smash!
Is this P1 GTR worth the coin? Let us know in the comments.
