Everyone went a bit crazy last month over the Bugatti Chiron’s 0-400km/h-0 time of 41.96 seconds, and with good reason.
It’s a Herculean effort from one of the world’s most epic cars built by one of the world’s biggest car manufacturers (Volkswagen). But it has also just been unceremoniously blown away by the Swedish upstarts at Koenigsegg.
The crazy Swedes took a customer’s mental Agera RS to Vandel in southern Scandinavia, opened the taps on the 1360hp 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8, and laid down an astonishing 36.44 second time. That is 5 seconds quicker than the Bugatti, if you’re wondering. That's a lot.
