Be a part of the 2012 motor show

“We look forward to sharing with the online community all the exciting new models".

The Australian International Motor Show will this year use social media channels to provide fans and followers with real-time updates on all the latest reveals and news, as it happens at the Show’s Industry and Media preview on Thursday 18th October.

For 2012, the Australian International Motor Show has grown its online presence and will include Pinterest for the first time to complement its Facebook and Twitter accounts.

“We look forward to sharing with the online community all the exciting new models that are making their debut here in Australia.  Connecting via these popular networking sites is just another way for the Motor Show to have direct interaction with the interested public,” said Russ Tyrie, Event Director.

“On the day and throughout the Show we will have a dedicated team, updating our virtual photo boards and sharing the latest images and information, as it happens.

“We also encourage those lucky enough to attend the Show in Sydney to join in the fun by capturing and posting their favourite image to share their experiences with fellow automotive fans all around the World.”

Almost 95 per cent of all new cars sold in Australia this year will be represented at the 2012 Australian International Motor Show, with 27 brands confirmed to exhibit their current, future and in some instances, concept range of vehicles.

Two new manufacturers will be making their Australian International Motor Show debuts, with Opel and Infiniti taking the stage, as part of their launch strategy into the local automotive market.
