The LS-T is the flagship the 2024 MU-X range, offered exclusively with the biggest 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine and a choice of two-wheel drive ($61,400) or four-wheel drive ($67,990 drive-away).
The downside, of course, is that without the option of the smaller 1.9-litre turbo-diesel engine, there’s really nothing new for 2024, save a price increase.
While the D-Max ute has just been updated with a new look, tech and safety, the MU-X is yet to receive the upgrades, which means this trim essentially carries over from 2023.

That means you get 20-inch alloys, leather seats that are heated in the front and remote engine start. You also get the last-gen 9.0-inch central screen, dual-zone climate control and a powered tailgate.
All 4x4 models are plenty capable, too, with '4x4 Terrain Command', '2-High', '4-High' and '4-Low', a rear-diff lock and a 'Rough Terrain' mode which helps with grip and traction on slippery surfaces.
The LS-T’s 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine produces 140kW and 450Nm, and pairs with a six-speed automatic.
