Holden Commodore 1991: SS Group A, is it worth it?

I found a 1991 VP Holden SS factory 5-speed, now here’s the question. It’s a numbered car, number 273 of 500 Bathurst models (on a dedicated plate on firewall), but I can’t find any info on any Bathurst models for VP. It’s reasonably priced if it’s worth something, otherwise I’ll walk away.

HSV produced 500 SS Group A versions of the Commodore in 1991 to homologate it for racing, i.e., Bathurst. It sounds like one of those, maybe built after the introduction of the VP in September 1991.
