I have a problem with my 2013 Holden Commodore manual. When I change from first to second it feels as though it has changed as normal, but as you release the clutch it jumps back out of gear. The same happens changing back in gears from third to second. It doesn't happen every time, only occasionally. I have taken it back to the dealer's several times, but with no success. The last time I was told they adjusted cables, but have since been told there are no cables for the gearbox. What is my best course of action?
The problem is more likely to be with the clutch rather than the gearbox, and the dealer has tried to adjust the clutch cable. Given that the car is so new the best course of action is to persist with the dealer and push to have him fix it. If he says he can't fix it then ask him to call in his local service rep to get factory help.
