An advertising team in Australia is behind the latest Top Gear trailer to be screened in markets around the world, showing the popular motoring show’s tame racing driver impatiently waiting for season 21 to start.
The footage features The Stig mooning wistfully over a car toy that falls out of his 'Captain Slow' cereal, trying to pass time by mowing the lawn with a slalom of witches hats, and watching a tap drip.
The trailer is part of a campaign created by Sydney's Zspace studio, directed by Gavain Browne and produced by Sam Hall, with the part sharing the writing. It will run in several countries around the world – including Australia and the US – that make up Top Gears weekly audience of about 350 million viewers.
