Mazda BT-50 2007: Noisy clutch

The clutch in my 2007 Mazda BT-50 started being noisy and the mechanic said it was a thrust bearing. He replaced it and within 100 km it started making much more noise than prior to it being replaced. The clutch also slips a little bit when it is harshly accelerated to pass trucks etc. It never did that before.

I have to take it back to the mechanic but would like some information first if possible?

I’d be checking the clutch to see if it could be worn out or close to.
