Is a Suzuki Baleno a reliable city family car?

Asked by Rob Barron

I am looking at trading in my 2000 Honda CR-V 2WD manual on a 2016 Suzuki Baleno. I just want the car for city driving, running my two teenage children around. Do you have any advice on the Baleno, I am a little concerned by the ‘Made in India’ tag.

The Baleno should be fine for your needs, and I wouldn’t be concerned about the fact that it’s made in India. Suzuki has been making cars in India for a number of years and there has been nothing to suggest that they are of a lower quality or less reliable as a result.
