The Italian performance specialist has delivered the Abarth 500e, a pure-electric FWD micro macho three-door coupe with the performance to match its go-fast looks. CarsGuide was invited to Italy for a preview drive before it arrives in Australia late this year.

    The Cupra Born finally has an electric hot hatch rival! The Abarth 500e will hit Australian showrooms by the end of 2023 and it will be offered in a limited-edition 'Scorpionissima' grade initially. Once they sell out, it will be available exclusively in regular Turismo trim from early 2024 on.
