We’ve seen what happens when a giant mining truck tries to use a 70 Series LandCruiser as a wheel chock, and now this video proves that the C208 Mercedes-Benz CLK is similarly fallible beneath a few dozen tonnes of earthmoving equipment.
While the slippery surface looks to help the CLK evade its doom initially, a deft tap from the giant wheel loader’s scoop soon seals its fate.
However, despite being reduced to knee-height rubble in seconds, the CLK’s wiring system is clearly made of tougher stuff. The hazard lights keep going like cockroaches after an atomic bomb, warning of the newly created three-pointed trip hazard.
