Lexus is introducing a new limited edition to its model range, with the UX250h F Sport Design Special Edition coming to showrooms in April.

In a limited run of 250 units, the Lexus UX250h 2WD F Sport Design Special Edition (to give it the full, Lexus official name) features a series of unique design elements and features for buyers hoping to stand out a little more.

Starting at $58,120 plus on-road costs, the F Sport Design Special Edition is based on the front-wheel drive hybrid-powered UX, and as such as a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine making 135kW.

Where it differs from the rest of the UX range is its bodywork, first of all, with unique front and rear bumpers, a different grille, and 18-inch wheels. It also gains black roof rails and exterior mirror caps plus body-coloured wheel arches.

Additionally, the Special Edition gets a two-tone roof colour combo, the first time a Lexus UX has had such. Six combinations are available, while the option of black or white NuLuxe synthetic leather for the interior is matched with traditional Japanese-inspired Washi paper ornamentation.

Lexus has replaced features like the alloy scuff plates, illuminated entry, and tyre repair kit with a wireless phone charger, eight-way adjustable heated seats, and power tailgate.

The 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen display pairs with a 7.0-inch driver display that remains the same, with wireless Apple CarPlay, and wired Android Auto.
