MG Australia slashes drive-away prices of its cheapest models and popular SUVs by thousands, including 2024 MG ZST, HS plug-in hybrid SUV and MG 3 hatchback

More pricing changes follow the brand’s electric cars switching to drive-away pricing.

Good news for anyone considering an MG hatch or SUV as the Chinese brand has lowered its drive-away pricing for some popular models.

Petrol and plug-in hybrid models including the MG3 hatch, MG ZS, ZST, HS, and HS Plus EV plug-in hybrid have had their prices lowered, all by at least $1000.

The pricing change follows the brand switching its pricing to a drive-away structure for its electric cars a little more than a week ago.

The MG3 hatchback and ZS SUV have both been the benefactors of $1000 price drops, with the brand’s hatch down to a starting price of $18,990 drive-away for the base ‘Core’ and the ZS now $22,990.

The ZST now starts from a competitive $25,490 thanks to a $1500 price drop, with price drops becoming more significant the higher up the range.

The same story applies to the HS SUV, which is now at least $3000 cheaper than before, starting at $29,990 drive-away.

The MG3 hatchback and ZS SUV have both been the benefactors of 00 price drops.

The plug-in hybrid HS Plus EV is now available from $43,690, a reduction of $6000 to its pricing compared to before.

Other models including electric cars have also had pricing changes recently, as the brand adopted a drive-away price structure for its EVs and is set to update the MG5 sedan soon with a safety upgrade.

The same story applies to the HS SUV, which is now at least 00 cheaper than before, starting at ,990 drive-away.

The MG5’s price is likely to change then, but remains the same at $24,990 drive-away for the base Vibe for now.
