The Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 I purchased new in January 2015 has done 27,000 km. In April when serviced by my local mechanic he said it had a main seal oil leak. I contacted the local Mercedes dealer to check and they stated it was acceptable and to bring back in 2000 km.
It has just done the 2000 km and I notice it is leaking on ground, but is not using oil by dipstick. It only had a 3-year warranty, so was out of warranty January 2018. Am I able to get Mercedes to cover repairs due to minimal kilometres on the car?
The warranty expired a year ago now, and had expired when you approached Mercedes about it last April. Talk to Mercedes and try to enlist their help, but I doubt you will have any success.
