Carsguide Managing Editor - Head of Video Matt Campbell had this to say at the time: All three of these models have a level of appeal, and all are impressive in their own ways. But against our review criteria - which you can read on the site - here’s what we found.

The 2019 Kia Sportage carries a braked towing capacity of up to 1600 Kg, but check to ensure this applies to the configuration you're considering.
The Kia Sportage 2019 prices range from $14,520 for the basic trim level SUV Si (FWD) to $27,500 for the top of the range SUV Sx+ (Awd).
It doesn’t sound right, does it. And why would Kia even include a low-beam light indicator if it wasn’t to show that the low-beam lights were, in fact, on?
You should be able to figure it out by looking at the owner’s manual for your car. I managed to find such a thing online for your model Sportage, and it shows only a high-beam indicator light and a lights-on warning which covers both parking lights and low-beam. That suggests that your dealer is correct.
The other question, however, is what you’re looking at that makes you think it’s a low-beam warning light. The answer could be that there are two high-beam indicator lights, one for the manual high-beam operation and another for the automatic high-beam if your vehicle has that fitted. Perhaps it’s the fog-light indicator you’re seeing. Again, your owner’s manual should spell it out for you.

Kia confirmed that there is a software issue with the 2.0-litre diesel engine, which results in surging when the engine is cold. The told us that their supplier has been working on a solution which they hope will be available fairly soon. It is complicated by the fact the software is not supplied only to Kia and any changes have to be cleared by all users. From that I think you could assume the Tucson is probably also affected.

Camper trailers typically weigh in the range of 850 kg to 1200 kg without the extra weight of things like food, bedding, clothes, etc. so it’s probably best to look at a compact SUV. A Mazda CX5 will tow up to 1800 kg, which would seem to fit your needs. Then there’s a Kia Sportage (1600 kg), Mitsubishi Outlander (1600 kg), or Suzuki Grand Vitara (1600 kg).
