Kia K4

FROM
$30,590

Kia’s Cerato replacement and Toyota Corolla competitor is new for 2025, offering major design and technology upgrades, along with a new(ish) line-up.

What it doesn’t offer is a hybrid, which for a brand that has pioneered game-changing electric cars, such as the EV9 and EV6, feels a little off-brand.

Not to worry, though, Kia Australia is confident one is coming, just whether it is too little too late against the Corolla Hybrid remains to be seen.

The line-up currently starts at $30,590 for the K4 S and ranges through to $43,790 for the range-topping K4 Gt-Line.

Kia K4 Accessories

The Kia K4 sedan comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, digital radio, a smart key with push button start, power folding and heated exterior mirrors, four USB-C outlets and a six- or eight-speaker audio system. Each subsequent grade above the S gains more features and the GT-Line tops the range with a premium Harman Kardon eight-speaker audio system, eight-way power driver’s seat, paddle shifters, ambient lighting, heated steering wheel and a wireless charging pad.

Kia K4 Interior

The Kia K4 sedan adopts Kia's latest interior design, which features twin 12.3-inch displays for multimedia and driver instrumentation, although the base S comes standard with a 4.0-inch LCD driver display instead. It has more interior space than the Cerato it replaces. It also comes with a new steering wheel design - two spoke for all but the GT-Line which gets a sporty three-spoke wheel.

Kia K4 Engine

The Kia K4 sedan S, Sport and Sport+ come with a 112kW/192Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission driving the front wheels. The Kia K4 GT-Line sedan uses a 142kW/245Nm 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol unit, driving the front wheels via an eight-speed torque-converter auto.

Kia K4 Seats

The Kia K4 sedan has five seats and a 60/40 split-fold rear. The S and Sport come with cloth trim while the Sport+ and GT-Line are offered with synthetic leather.

Kia K4 Boot Space
