The Sorento GT-Line sits at the top of the seven-seat SUV line-up and the standard gear and interior appointments are like that of a premium European car.
This grade includes 20-inch alloy wheels, quilted Nappa leather-appointed seats, mood lighting, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, a head-up display, a premium sound system, a wireless charger and a digital rearview mirror.Â
The 2024 facelift introduces an EV9-like exterior makeover, new curved multimedia and driver display, and a modernised dash and console, as well as improvements to ride and handling.
As with all grades it’s available with a 3.5-litre V6 petrol (2WD), or a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel (AWD), and while the latter will set you back an extra $3000 over the petrol, it’s the pick of the non-hybrid grades.
All Sorentos have a solid list of standard safety gear that includes auto emergency braking with a forward collision warning and vehicle, pedestrian, cyclist and junction detection, lane-keep assist, lane-follow assist, blind-spot collision assist, safe exit warning, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver attention alert and a rear occupant alert.Â
