Kia EV6

Though the EV6 might not be Kia’s first foray into electric cars, that distinction belongs to the Niro small SUV, the large-size SUV might be the most important. That’s because it plays in the ever-popular large SUV class, making it the right shape and size for families that want to start on the EV journey.

The EV6 doesn’t come cheap though, especially compared to Kias of old, with a starting price of $72,590 before on-road costs and extending to $99,590, but with each model equipped with a 77.4kWh battery in Australia, that means driving range of up to 528 kilometres.

And for those that want a bit more pep in their step, the flagship GT serves up sizzling performance thanks to dual-electric motors that are good for 430kW/740Nm that can accelerate the EV from 0-100km/h in just 3.5 seconds – making it the quickest production Kia yet.

The line-up currently starts at $72,590 for the EV6 AIR RWD and ranges through to $99,590 for the range-topping EV6 GT AWD.
