The KGM Torres is offered in 'Grand White' as standard while metallic hues like 'Space Black', 'Iron Metal', 'Latte Greige', 'Dandy Blue' and 'Forest Green' all incur an extra cost.
As standard the KGM Torres comes with dual-zone automatic climate control, an electric park brake, smart key, push button start, rain-sensing front wipers, tyre pressure monitoring, a leather steering wheel, LED daytime running lights, heated auto-folding door mirrors, fabric seats, a 12.3-inch digital LCD instrument cluster and 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front and rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera. Further up the range you get a sunroof, powered seats, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, leather seats and a 360-degree camera.
The KGM Torres has a spacious cabin with ample headroom and reasonable leg and knee room in the rear. The twin digital screen set-up is reminiscent of the Kia arrangement, and the dash design is interesting and clean. The Torres excels when it comes to storage options and there's a nice use of materials and colours, especially the bronze in some grades.
The KGM Torres is now offered with three powertrain options.
The petrol is a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine delivering 120kW/280Nm paired with a six-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels only.
Powering the KGM Torres Hybrid is a 110kW/220Nm 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a permanent magnet synchronous motor delivering 130kW/300Nm, for a combined power output of 150kW. KGM does not provide an overall torque figure. It has a 'dedicated hybrid transmission'.
The pure-electric KGM Torres EVX has a single electric motor sending 153kW/339Nm to the front wheels.
