The SLi remains the second from the top trim level in the Kia Carnival range, with the new fourth-generation model kicking off at $56,880 (MSRP) or $60,290 (drive away). This is for the petrol version, with the diesel adding an extra $2000. Opting for the cheaper Si will save you $4500, while the top of the range Platinum will cost you an extra $7800.
The SLi has the same alloys as the Si, but scores artificial leather seat trim, tinted rear windows, proximity keys, power sliding doors and tailgate, 360 degree cameras and a few other minor details.
Like all Carnival trim levels, the SLi is available with either a 3.5-litre petrol V6 or a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel, with official fuel consumption figures of 9.6L/100km and 6.5L/100km respectively.
