Mazda Australia has confirmed a small pricing change to its line-up, almost a standard rise across all models, which took place as of January 1.
Pricing changes seen by CarsGuide were reported more recently than January, though the adjustment amounts to just $150 more for most models in the Mazda Australia range, aside from the lightly updated Mazda CX-5.
A Mazda spokesperson confirmed the changes to CarsGuide, also outlining reasoning and some slightly different adjustments for specific models and variants for different reasons.

“The $150 January 1 increase is relative to market changes, raw material and production costs as well as currency fluctuations, among other factors, which all affect price setting,” the spokesperson said.
Along with the pricing change across the board, an additional $550 increase (for a total $700) has been applied to the CX-60 plug-in hybrid SUV variants as a provision for the charging cable, while the CX-90 SUV range saw a couple of variants cop an extra $45 (meaning they’re up $195) to account for Luxury Car Tax (LCT).
Specifications across the Mazda range remain the same aside from the Mazda CX-5, which is an updated model. The CX-5 pricing is slightly different, up by more than $400 for most variants except the Maxx ($480) and Touring ($650).
