"The Audi S6 has long embodied the brand’s performance-luxury ethos, emerging in the early 1990s as the sportier sibling to the A6. Originally launched as a variant of the Audi 100, it gained traction with its powerful turbocharged engines, quattro all-wheel drive grip and understated styling. It was positioned to compete with sportier versions of the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class without shouting about it.

Over successive generations, the S6 matured into a proper high-performance executive sedan and wagon. From the V8-powered C5 and C6 iterations to the twin-turbo V6 of more recent years, each model offered a refined yet exhilarating drive. Audi’s focus on technology and cabin luxury has helped it stand out."
