First Car
I am looking to buy a car for my son who is turning 21 soon. He currently drives a 2004 Toyota Camry. We are looking to replace it with a Toyota Camry Atara SL with all of the options he could ask for, but he is leaning towards a Hyundai Veloster SR Turbo, which would cost about the same. What would be your advice?
With an 50-50 average of short and long runs, my 2010 Hyundai Getz 1.4-litre auto uses in excess of 12L/100km. I don’t think this is normal. Can it be fixed?
I have been looking for a car for my daughter around the $7000 to $8000 mark. I've researched the 2012 Ford Fiesta and Hyundai, but everything I see priced at around $8000 is too old for $8000. Any help would be appreciated
My daughter is soon to be 18 and we are looking at going halves in a car with her. If you could wave a magic wand it would cost about $10,000, be an auto, have good safety features and about 100,000km on the clock. She also wants to put a mattress in it so she is drawn to the small SUVs. We will probably have to compromise on something from the wish list with safety being the No.1 priority for me and a mattress in the car and auto for her. What car would be good for me to look at and hunt down, because a Chery J11 is so different to a Subaru.
I am planning to buy a used 2010 Holden Cruze as my first car here. Is it a good option to go for, or are there other cars I should look at? My budget is around $14,000.
Some advice please — my son is turning 18 and I want to buy him an SUV or small 4WD. My budget is between $10,000-$20,000 and he likes fishing and surfing.
I am looking at buying a 2006 or 2007 Holden Barina for my daughter's first car, but a couple of people have 'warned' me that there was a certain year that had problems. Can you please advise me?
I am looking to buy my first car. I've done a bit of research, but I still have many questions that need to be answered. I am currently looking at purchasing a used 2013 Mazda 2 or 3 hatch (or similar), but I am still rattled, as I don't really have anyone to advise me on cars. Do you have any suggestions, or tips for me?
