Mercedes-AMG A45 Review, For Sale, Specs, Colours & Models in Australia

FROM $122,500

The Mercedes-AMG A45 is the high-performance hatch and flag(rocket)ship of the A-Class range.

When this A45 originally launched in 2013 it had Mercedes-AMG's first four cylinder engine but with an incredible 265kW it was also the world’s most powerful four cylinder.

Today the A45 makes a ridiculous 310kW, has all-wheel drive and a 0-100km/h time of 3.9 seconds.

The line-up currently starts at $122,500 for the A-Class A45 S 4Matic+ Edition R and ranges through to $122,500 for the range-topping A-Class A45 S 4Matic+ Edition R.

Mercedes-Benz A45 FAQs

Luxury replacement for a Mazda 3

Your choices both get The Tick, but the Benz A250 might be too sporty for a retirement car and the A3 is an upscale Volkswagen Golf. A good mate has just bought an Accord Euro and, even though it goes out of production soon, he loves it. You should test-drive all three.

BMW and Porsche Australian pricing?

It's a two-way street, not straight profiteering, as Mercedes-Benz Australia is accelerating the value of its cars in a way that's paying off mightily for buyers and undermining rival brands.

Should I buy a Mercedes-Benz C63?

I'd go for the 507 every time. It gets The Tick in a big way and is even more fun than an A45. The biggest cost will be rear tyres.
