The second model in the Forester range is the 2.0-litre turbodiesel L, following up at slightly more stout $33,470. The diesel knocks out 108kW and 350Nm, with a combined fuel figure of 5.9L/100km. You can choose a six-speed manual or continuously variable transmission (CVT) to deliver drive to all four wheels.
Rolling on 17-inch alloys wheels, the D-L also comes with a six-speaker stereo powered by Subaru's Starlink 7.0-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
