Further up the Pathfinder ladder is the higher grade Ti that’s available in both two-wheel drive guise from $65,910 before on-road costs and four-wheel drive for a circa $4000 premium at $70,030.
Naturally the ST gains more standard gear than the ST and ST-L and that includes a 13-speaker Bose audio system, wireless smartphone charging, more USB ports, built in sunshades, auto-dimming rear view mirror, and machine finished 18-inch alloys.Â
Safety wise the Ti gets everything from the ST-L so that means auto emergency braking (AEB) with junction, pedestrian and cyclist detection, rear AEB, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot warning and intelligent blind spot intervention, rear seat alert, a driver alert, traffic sign recognition, trailer sway control and ProPilot.
All Pathfinders come with a revised version of the carryover 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine pumping out 202kW/340Nm matched with a new nine-speed automatic transmission that replaces the CVT. The hybrid from the previous model has been dropped globally.
