The 2022 Ram 1500 range of configurations is currently priced from $70,926.
Our most recent review of the 2022 Ram 1500 resulted in a score of 7 out of 10 for that particular example.
Carsguide Managing Editor - Head of Video Matt Campbell had this to say at the time: It’s big, and it’s good. Helping out my mates who needed to move their tiny house was a great excuse to spend a week in the newer Ram 1500 DT Laramie, and the vehicle I drove was impressive in many, many ways.

This is what Matt Campbell liked most about this particular version of the Ram 1500: Huge towing ability, Big, comfy interior, Nicer to drive than you'd think
The 2022 Ram 1500 carries a braked towing capacity of up to 4500 Kg, but check to ensure this applies to the configuration you're considering.
The Ram 1500 2022 prices range from $75,790 for the basic trim level Express to $133,870 for the top of the range Dual Cab Limited Rambox (hybrid).
The biggest decision you really need to make is whether you option the Ramboxes on the variants that don't have them standard. These are clever storage boxes along the sides of the tub that are lockable, have drainage, and even have power too.
A range of extras can be had - including tow ball kits in 50mm and 70mm, and a tri-fold tonneau cover.
Colour choices include: Billet Silver, Bright White, Delmonico Red, Granite Crystal (grey), Diamond Black and Patriot Blue. Only the white paint is at no cost - the rest add a fee.
The rule of thumb is that a float with two horses on board is around the 2000kg mark, so that’s the absolute bare minimum towing limit you’d be looking at. Even then, by the time you add a couple of saddles, some feed bins and whatever else it is horsey people cart around, you could easily be looking at 2.5 or even three tonnes.
With that in mind, the smart move would be to buy a dual-cab ute with as much towing capacity as possible. The good news there is that many of the popular choices can tow a braked trailer weighing anything up to 3.5 tonnes. Think about it; if a ute can tow 3.5 tonnes, it should cope easily with two tonnes.
If, on the other hand, we’re talking a three-axle float and a pair of Clydesdale horses, you might have to look at one of the US-made utes from the likes of RAM or other US-market brands. And even then, you need to be careful: Even though some versions of the RAM ute can legally tow 4500kg with a braked trailer, to do so and not exceed the GCM (the combined mass of the vehicle and trailer) the payload in the tray falls to less than 100kg.

You might be blown away by the 12.0-inch touchscreen media system in the cabin of the DT Ram 1500 models, and that's understandable. It looks good, and has great functionality as well - including buttons and dials to the side.
There's also ample storage throughout the cabin, and despite being built in left-hand drive, imported and then rebuilt in right-hand drive, it's a pretty seamless conversion.

The Ram 1500 has five seats. They're all big seats, too - adults can fit comfortably up front, and in the rear. And if you're thinking three-across the back row will be a squeeze, fear not - it's a roomy space, with child-seat anchor points, too.
There is no claimed 0-100km/h time for the Ram 1500. It might have a big petrol V8 engine, but it's not supercar fast. Expect the sprint to highway pace to be done with in about 10 seconds.
No boot here, but cargo capacity is good for this big truck. There's 1.5 cubic metres (SAE) of luggage / storage capacity in the tub of the Ram, and the Ramboxes (if fitted) have 210L of storage.
